People’s Democratic Party, formerly the world’s smallest Opposition, secured 32 seats out of 47 when the nation went to the polls on July 13. Druk Phuensum Tshogpa, the ruling party managed only 15 seats. However, the voter turn out this time was as low as 66% compared to 2008’s 80%.
